Chestnut

The Chestnut mushroom resembles its namesake nut with a brown speckled cap. Upon cooking the Chestnut exhibits an earthy aroma, and has a very pleasant nutty and slightly semi-sweet flavor. The chestnut can be roasted and added as a topping to salads, eaten with cheese, and sprinkled in autumn soups
